When I was a going through puberty I briefly found the idea appealing.
It was around the age girls get sucked into trans ideology now.
(SO grateful if wasn't a thing then)
I was gender non-conforming, and unfortunately matured early.
I hated that the clothing available was way too revealing. I hated see-through shirts, and french cut legs swimsuits, etc.
I was getting way too much creepy attention from males.
At the time a full burka sounded liberating to me.
So I read everything I could on Islam, and observed the members of that religion in my community. Especially my own dealings with their ill-behaved males. And I learned they did not even see women as human. I dropped that idea really quickly.
I think some women still see it as an escape from the "woman as public property" model of the left- Better to be abused by one than many.
