Spent my day at BitcoinLoxion (npub1gsf…hqlq) with Thulisa & her amazing team!
They are building a #Bitcoin circular economy in Khayelitsha Capetown.
I loved learning that all the volunteers that work on the gardening, logos painting & the project works are paid in #Bitcoin which they can spend at the different local shops i.e

✅Lalie’s Glam Studio
✅Kareem’s Grocery Shop
And others that I didn’t visit….
Thulisa drew inspiration from 2024’s Post Adopting Bitcoin Cape Town Conference (npub1p0x…deeh) trip to bitcoinekasi (npub1zkr…k6ec) ,
She went on to go through the outstanding Bitcoin Dadaclass and is now changing her community in real time.
I ensured to spend some sats at all the places we visited, if you are around Capetown - visit and get wowed.
