"content": "Truefans has a financial relationship with its users and can take a percentage of payments. Same for Podverse. They are therefore incentivised to explain streaming payments (and make it as easy as possible).\n\nThe question is whether an honesty tax, which streaming payments and other v4v tools are, are a way to build a business.\n\nI am quite taken with the idea of “pay what you think it’s worth” for a service - so there is a paywall but otherwise no set fee. Wonder if there’s a way to try that out?",
