Unfortunately yes the global feed/ firehose is lousy with that stuff or when I try to scroll a hashtag like plebchain or something. I always mute/report and move on and now pretty much just avoid that all together and stick with the all follows feed. Makes me wonder if Nostr will survive especially after the way Vultr was shutting down servers for one of the devs/server runners treating him like a criminal after mentioning that he was using it for Nostr.
