I think we need to significantly minimalize our many negative impacts on the global ecosystems where we can. Preferably not through government though as they're far too inefficient and corrupt, but we need shit like less chemicals in the water cycles and food chains. If we insist we're apex predators we need to respect nature not constantly try to dominate it and fight natural selection. Wherever there's a reasonable alternative solution to not fuck with nature, we probably shouldn't be fucking with nature. The only long term solutions I can see, that are compatible with humanity's many many many failings, is either human extinction or space migration.
