I agree, although I find that there is a trade off between my laziness and general ineptitude with machines and having the content I want in my feed. The compromise which works for me is having such a volume that I don't mind if I miss a bit. I'll generally stumble over something interesting. I have my notifications feed for quite a lot of my 'must see content'. If I was less lazy and incompetent, I'd explore lists for that purpose
