Saw someone talking about how, one of the reasons why most people are living such individualistic lonely lives, is because we don't have regularly scheduled TV anymore, or "appointment TV", we don't have video stores, most of us don't have malls, and we're basically living in our own bubbles entirely made up of things of our own choosing, which makes talking to, and relating to other people much harder
Kinda scoffed at the idea that TV connected people, but I think there's something a value behind these ideas
