I see a lot of "I survived..." memes from Boomers and Gen-Xers. Spankings, playgrounds, drinking from the hose, you name it. Yeah, you survived. But 1) There are those who didn't. And 2) One would think you'd do more than survive your childhood. God forbid you actually THRIVED.
