every single human activity falls into one of two categories, or both:

1. was good, is now bad, entirely because of the influence of the people who were in it for the money

2. is good, can be made immeasurably better by removing the influence of the people who are in it for the money

the only exceptions are activities where the money really is the point, in which case both definitions fail because they were never good
