Here is what I’ve been using as a basis on the physics end. I think it could be interesting to plot block size/block time (seconds) to get a speed of data in KB/s. Due to variability in block time, some running averages could maybe show some interesting chain growth data as well. Mirror this over difficulty epochs to see how bitcoin memory growth also changes as difficulty increases or decreases.
I find it interesting that the speed of memory using time measured in seconds could show very fast/slow eras of chain growth in human time.
