We're still a long way (decades) from large-scale fusion energy, but the results of this recent experiment in the UK are welcome news. The less dependent we are on genocidal petrostates (e.g. #Russia, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Azerbaijan, etc), the better off we'd be as a species. Also can't wait for natural hydrogen and space-based solar power to take off.
