Been eying off a dumb-phone for a while for non-work purposes but starting to think a dumb-TV would be just as useful

Bought a nice Sony OLED back when everything didn't cost a gazillion dollars and its enshittification is accelerating with every update

Gotten so bad, it's basically just used as another monitor now as it attempts to force apps and ads and other junk when allowed to operate itself

Probably should repurpose an old PC to permanently take over its demented android brain
