Also judging by the fact the prior marketing and live letters suggested something radically different from what we ended up getting suggests that a story rewrite happened to shift focus on Wuk. Something which I could see happening considering Kate has a say in the game's development (she replaced Koji fox, who had the same authority on the game's story in that position)
