I have a thing, I dont know what it is called, where I can’t discern the lyrics of sung music. I hear the music, but the words are a flowing mess of human voice in which I can only pick out odd words or phrases but no more. Exception being things like the start of Stairway to Heaven for example and some comedy songs where they annunciate on purpose and I hate comedy songs…
Might explain why I like ambient, music concrete, experimental and electronic music so much.
