The idea that we have to choose between state-power and business-power over ourselves is a false dichotomy.

Giving either side any power merely cements the already extant structure. Any changes in representatives or leaders of businesses is merely a changing of the guard. If we truly want better lives for everyone we would aim for a bottom-up structure of society.
