How much should the PodcastIndex charge you for access to their directory?

At what price would the cost be too much for you to bear to have access to their service?

Shouldn't the creator or maintainer of a service get to determine the value of the service?

Would it be fair to make the service v4v to some, but charge a monthly fee to any of the apps/hosts the support paywalls?
