I find it troubling that "influencers" are referred to as "creators." I've seen this in multiple places, most recently in terminology from Amazon.
I assume some influencers are creative and deserve the "creator" title, but influencing and creating are two different things. Neither implies the other. Someone who builds a following should not be considered a creator by default.
Generating content leveraging the works of others is not "creative" in the same sense as those who created those works.
