The position of the RCI is that "identity politics" movements, while obviously focusing on very important causes, often divide the working class and disrupt their struggle against the bourgeois class. The issues identity politics focuses on (such as sexism, racism, homophobia, etc) are obviously problems that need to be dealt with, but the class struggle should be the main priority, as working-class liberation will free all of us and make it easier to solve all our societal problems.
