This piece of absolute history took place just near the Adelphi Hotel - now Brewdog Swansea - the pub that my paternal grandfather ran in the post-war years. It’s also within a drunken stumble of the Railmens Club and Institute, which my maternal grandfather chaired several times in the post-war years.
The alcohol in that street is soaked into the fabric of the place.
