just watched Linus (techtips) review these new "smart glasses" called the "Brilliant Labs Frame" and while it looks like the AI part of it totally sucks they apparently are developed with micropython and are not locked down (seen reference that they are open source but I can't tell to what extent) and are selling new for 350$
