Whenever I hear people say they are making exit plans to leave the US, I think, Well isn't that the height of privilege. I know it's probably arduous but plenty of people absolutely cannot leave. They don't have the resources or there are other isses: I get expensive immunotherapy paid for by Medicare. If I move outside the US I lose my healthcare and lose the medicine that gets me out of bed and restores some function.
