I always floated on the edges. I like a lot of the jazz prog fusion artists, Bela Fleck, Chick Corea, etc. But I also like classic rock prog like Zappa and Yes.

I think there's an interesting nexus there with 60s era long-form jam bands like the Grateful Dead and Cream, etc.

I never went all in in prog... I'll have to check your suggestions. Always searching.
