Its a fact that Humanity lost a lot of ambition with technological advancements. We now have a much better idea about the seemingly insurmountable obstacles presented by space travel. In the 60s and 70s scientist still believed that we are going to gain the technologies necessary to become a space-fearing race. Today, we know that this will never happen. If it did, that would be a literal miracle.
We are wasting our opportunities, and we are running out of time. Any effort spent on "fixing" human tendencies is wasted opportunity, and 200% percent loss (we waste the time, plus we waste the work that could have moved us forward).
Islam will end Humanity in the fucking Stone Age again, you cannot run a business praying every ten minutes, being offended about absolutely anything, and keep beheading your employees.
