Had a short talking "friendship" with a woman calling herself SaltyBeaver719 on Fetlife, and she led me on for about 24 hours before shutting me out. I told her that I would like to meet. She gave me a bullshit excuse about being an empath and not wanting to absorb my depression, so we couldn't meet, but she would be ok with talking to me on FL. I calmly and politely told her I have done that before , and it did me no good. With that, she just cut me off. I am nobody's emotional tampon.
