My worst boss ever would come knock on the restroom door to tell you/me to get back to work.
I had to explain to him that when I went to the front office (where the restroom was located), I was taking papers that belonged there that needed to be filed, would make coffee (for others because I don’t drink coffee) if it was out, greet the coworkers there who sometimes wanted to talk, and *then* I would use the restroom.
