I was considering switching at one point, but then I realized not only would I lose my typing muscle memory, but also my muscle memory for keyboard shortcuts (Emacs, plus other standard ones). Could probably work around that (Qwerty for shortcuts and Dvorak for typing), but that'd be a pain and confusing.
Consistency in using keyboard shortcuts > slightly faster typing speed.
