Republican billionaires who had business before SCOTUS gave millions of dollars' worth of gifts directly to SCOTUS justices.
A nonprofit foundation in Mississippi invited Justice Sotomayor to speak to children in Mississippi, and bought some of her books to give to the kids. Justice Sotomayor wouldn't even allow the foundation to pay for her lunch.
Contrary to the Associated Press' both-sidesing, these things are not the same.
