My company uses an international HR system that uses USAian terminology.
One of my team (let's call them Sam) has resigned. I wish them well, support their reasons and am pretty excited they've grown enough to make this jump.
Given all that it really bothers me that the process I have to start in the HR system to register their resignation is labelled "Terminate Sam".
I'd like to think they'll be back though.
