Outdoor cooking is one if life’s joys. Sure we have an induction hob inside and a lot of battery power (10kW of Victron Lithium Ion) and 2kW of solar panels on the roof, but in the winter, when the sun is low in the sky, solar yield is reduced so often if we’re having something simple, we’ll crack out a gas camping stove and cook on that.
The number of times that’s lead to people coming over to chat to us, which is one of the best things about overlanding, is countless.
And, getting the gas stove out makes it feel, just for a little, like getting back to camping roots too!
