This takes hundreds of years, and we’re thinking decades, at best. Weeds that invade our forests are here and they are invading, at forest pace. For most, we’ll likely wait until it’s too late to easily stop them. (I see parallels with our response to global warming, another environmental change happening too slowly for human brains.)
