Hugging my hand in various ways for probably a solid 6 hours seems to have been what he needed to break through something or other because within 24 hours he's back to normal. I'm just glad he decided to make his sick safe space right by my bed and not in some hole somewhere. I initially took him to emergency because he literally asked me for help that AM. And had hidden in a spot he never uses.
