Violent revolution is an option of last resort, and sometimes makes things worse. It's also very hard to successfully pull off. I concede these points.
However, it is sometimes necessary, particularly when you are living under an absolute monarchy or a fascist dictatorship. The liberation of the people from despotism sometimes requires the use of force.
Liberals who doubt this fact can simply ask Thomas Jefferson (who was a bad person, no doubt, but many liberals still respect him for some reason)
You could even see the violent resistance to Nazism as revolutionary in content, as well as the numerous uprisings against slavery, the American revolution, the Arab spring, the Stonewall riot, the Haymarket Affair, the raid on Harper's Ferry, and many other historical events (including many events liberals and reformist socialists celebrate).
Blindly condemning violent revolution is ignorant of the history of both liberalism and socialism, in the exact same way blindly advocating for it is.
