redneonglow (nprofile…g8j6) nikiboo (the retvrn) (nprofile…auzu) that is false. this bs rumor comes from a screenshot of a guy impersonating mpv on twitter. if you actually look on github majority of mpv contributor have anime pfp and mpv has been THE anime video player for years.
regardless both projects are free and open source so the developer opinions outside of the actual code do not matter anyways
