In all honesty I think it depends on what you're looking to get out of social media. Free speech? Large active community? Likeminded women? It's hard to find one with all three.
There are loads of Mastodon servers you can try out which you largely have been unable to see from Spinster because they blocked us long ago (what Flick 🇬🇧 (nprofile…g7ln) was saying). Any server that blocked Spinster is likely pretty woke and if you say the same things there as you say on Spinster you'll get banned. Nonethless, if you just want to explore (or talk about other topics) here are a couple lists:
https://fediverse.party/en/portal/servers/
https://joinfediverse.wiki/Instances
Bluesky is very similar in vibe to most liberal Mastodon servers, with the notable exception that they do not seem to be banning people simply for saying GC things (see: drama over Jesse Singal). I don't know how long that will last. It has the benefit of getting a lot of attention lately, so it's pretty active over there right now. It's not truly decentralized, and bridging with it is hard.
Nostr is a smaller community for now that has not gotten much mainstream attention, so it's more like a small town where everyone knows each other. Lots of people on here are talking about Bitcoin, but I hope more people join and talk about other things. It's the only platform I know of with true censorship resistance because admins of servers can't take your account away from you -- unlike on the Fediverse (including Spinster), and Bluesky. There is also the major benefit that it bridges with the Fediverse (how I'm writing to you) so you can keep up with Fedi friends :)
Any Spinsters who want to try out Nostr are welcome to try https://henhouse.social, but there are many other ways to join including the apps Primal or Damus, and I recommend trying multiple to help you understand how the platform works and find what you like.
