Every $TIME_UNIT that passes, I have less and less mental time for technology that doesn’t quite work - either as “sold” or relative to the last time I used it.
I used to be excited & spend time making things align to create the perfect combination, and give me a “nerd high”.
But over the last 3 or so years? I just want to do the thing at the end. The journey in between is much less interesting.
It’s unclear if things have gotten worse, or I’ve just got cranky. Or both.
It’s infuriating.
