TIL that if you suffer a cyber attack and if the hackers demand a ransom in Bitcoin and you go through and pay it, your business gets blacklisted for operating in the US.
There’s a workaround though - you’re allowed to hire a third party company to pay the ransom from your behalf and then you’ll be fine.
