You are wise. But that ship has sailed with my npub, because I got into #nostr before I realized that KYC was a big no-no. So I trust

fountain_app (npub1v5u…n0v5) , but if I were joining today, I would do it a little differently. The whole idea is don’t trust, verify. But you learn this after you get on #nostr in many cases. So the only option is delete your npub and start all over with your knowledge and your humility.
I mean, I have strike and I have Nostr but I wouldn't link them, I won't even link nostr and fountain because then my email (required for the fountain sign up) is linked to my nsec... maybe I'm just a paranoid crypto anarchist? 😂
