If all single-use plastics came with large pictures like this in the same way the cig cartons have photos of smokers’ lungs, would that have an effect upon usage?

I’d imagine not, not unless is was in a situation where there was the option to use glass or other genuinely recyclable materials for little difference in cost within the same transaction.
