I agree to some degree however if someone busts their ass and puts out an amazing product and no one wants to spend sats for it because they’ve been told Bitcoin is primarily a store of value and number go up forever— then that bright new merchant will fade out pretty quickly. Lots of good businesses have accepted BTC for a time but then when no one was buying they either stopped accepting Bitcoin or moved on completely. It’s a double edged sword.
Producers of quality products *should* accept Bitcoin, but conversely bitcoiners must *demand* to spend Bitcoin for quality products. Currently that’s not really the case. Once that happens, the market will open up and then producers with the absolute top of the line products will suddenly be competing for people to buy their products with Bitcoin.
But until people *demand* to spend sats, there is simply no incentive for most to put in the proof of work required.
