To enable WoT, you need to set the following environment variables: WOT_TRUST_ANCHOR_PUBKEY (required), WOT_TRUST_DEPTH, and WOT_FETCH_FOLLOW_LIST_FROM
To enable PoW, you need to set the environment variable MIN_POW_DIFFICULTY
Both WoT and PoW can be enabled simultaneously, and events that satisfy either one of the requirements will be accepted.
