Saddened to hear that Norman Ackroyd died yesterday. An inspiration to anybody who makes prints (in general) and etchings in particular, and always generous with his knowledge. I will remember very fondly a number of evenings spent in his company after opening nights of his shows at the Zillah Bell Gallery - supper, wine, and conversation around John Bell's kitchen table.
