One sad and ironic fact about that the attacks on gamers and gaming is that they are coming from two very different fronts: We are all aware of how non-gamers and fake gamers (politicians, Anita Sarkeesian, gaming journos etc) do this, but a lot of the most hardcore gamers imaginable are also in the Enemy camp, due to being either trannies or friends of trannies.
This is because trannies, being no-life losers with NOTHING going for them, are disproportionately likely to play games like absolute turbo-autists, to the point where they'll often break into the competitive gaming scene. And once in there, they demand that the entire competitive community Accept and even Affirm their mental illness, or they'll cry bigotry and oppression. Most of the competitive gaming autists are mild-mannered nerds, so they easily succumb to such emotional blackmail.
And that's why so many competitive gamers (speedrunners, tournament players etc) and gaming JewTubers end up listing their "preferred pronouns" and defending the destruction of gaming. Just like so many people in Western countries would rather commit national suicide than being called racist, many Pro Gamers would rather see all games turn to shit than be labeled trannyphobic.
