The CDC's stance on #COVID19 boosters is contradictory. They acknowledge waning immunity: "protection from the updated vaccine will decline over time." They also state boosters "provide sustained protection against critical illness and death." Yet no pharmacy will give me a booster because the CDC states boosters are only for people 65+ years old or immunocompromised. My PCP wrote me an Rx for a booster but pharmacies won't honor it, deferring to CDC guidelines. Maddening!
