Yes that's the thing. It can be a grey zone... Also thinking that many (all?) of the 'controlled' processes have occurred wildely at some point of Life, and could still occur, under the right circumstances.
But sure for the sake of being short and telling the story to someone that doesn't know anything, I guess 'Controlled' could do the work
