Two paths to go, yet I don’t see the way
Do I leave now or do I just stay.
My heart wants to rest,
Yet my head seeks conquest.

I think I have the capabilities,
To face all possible realities,
But comfort and anxiety,
Keeps me in places I don’t want to be.

Here I am not me, here I am not free.
And if I flee?
What if everything I am just flees with me?
What if there is no place where I can be me and free?

Why don’t I fit in?
Why don’t I begin?
I know I will win,
when I do not sin.

Now doubts creeping in,
Is selling your soul not the greatest sin?
And what about the loved ones,
I’m leaving behind,
Just leaving them here wouldn’t be kind.

Two paths to go,
And I don’t want to stay,
But going away?
No way!
