i think so too, we have very differing viewpoints- but thats not a bad thing! i love debating these sorts of things. i personally believe that an ai that is trained properly will not be more biased than a human (we’re very biased). that is the basis of my own bias.
ML isnt a series of if statements, it works off of given data to come up with its own conclusions, and ai models have vastly more data than a human brain. i think there will come a point where that model is so solid, we wont be able to compete in any aspect. i like your example of current education being biased. i was born in spain but raised in the US, and what is taught varies differently by country. i dont think homogenizing information is a bad thing - then we might all be well-educated and finally agrre with one another! (so long as we dont lose our culture)
