The problem I have with all of this is Trump's habit of stating a problem as justification for his solution. He does it all the time. He'll be asked to justify his plans and methods, and his response will be a recitation of the problem, as if the existence of a problem justifies whatever he's planning to do. It's a dishonest rhetorical tactic meant to deflect from the question at hand, and use the existence of a problem as defacto justification for whatever he wants to do. I don't think FEMA is perfect. And I'm sure there are inefficiencies, and mistakes. But that doesn't justify whatever tactic he wants to use to remedy the problems. The problem, and the solution are two different things, but they're being treated as one. Because you can justify anything if you treat the problem as a mandate to do whatever you want.
