I keep thinking about this concept I've posted about before: how limitations resulted in creativity, particularly in games. Looking at a variety of technology, we well could be on the verge of removing most creative barriers, at least as far as going from an idea in the mind to something out in the world.
Will this be a serious trade off though? I wonder how things would have been if it was so easy for game studios in the past to make what they wanted without having to work around limits.
