I've been using Thunderbird: Free Your Inbox (npub1hxz…r8sj) for absolute *years*, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I used it when my primary email was still via my free Google Workspace domain, and I still use it now that I've switched over to Yahoo.

And the switch was super easy, because in Thunderbird I could add both accounts at the same time, and literally CTRL+A and drag and drop everything from my Google folders into my Yahoo ones. What a pleasure! :D
