Last month I tried Umbrel but unfortunately it was running extremely slowly with the OS and some off the other stuff.
So, I did a fresh install of Ubuntu and this week I intend on hooking up the BTC node (pretty sure this can be done in Ubuntu.)
From what I've gathered, once I have the BtC node, I just install lighting node on top of it and run?
Now, the opportunity cost of this is an interesting one.
I would love to run to run a node for my region (Southern Africa) given the lack of infrastructure here. But it'll burn my pocket, won't it?
As it stands, I already pay to run a relay
